The League of Creative Interventionists was a non-profit I founded in 2016 and served as Executive Director until 2018 before transitioning to the Board of Directors. LOCI was then led by Jonell Logan up until Covid when we sunsetted as an organization. LOCI started as volunteer-led chapters in cities around the world, before becoming a funded non-profit and sponsoring a cohort of national fellows and projects that harnessed the creativity of local residents to create stronger, healthier, and more vibrant communities. We had 23 fellows over our existence, providing over $180k to community artists and engaging over 13,000 people. We also held an annual convening of our national fellows, bringing them together to connect with their peers, be inspired by keynote speakers, and explore a new city.
